1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and the operator of the Nosca service (“Nosca,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to the Nosca website, web application, mobile applications, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use Nosca. If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. You may not use the Service if law prohibits you from doing so.
Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials confidential, and promptly notify us of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may not sell, transfer, or share an account in a way that defeats plan limits or security controls.
3. The Service
Nosca turns topics and source material into short learning reels, study paths, assessments, explanations, recommendations, and related tools. Features, formats, availability, and usage limits may change as the Service develops. We may add, remove, limit, or discontinue features, and we do not guarantee that any particular source, media item, integration, or generated result will always be available.
Nosca is a learning aid. It does not replace qualified instruction or professional medical, legal, financial, or other advice.
4. Artificial intelligence and generated content
Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or unsuitable for your situation. It may misunderstand your source material or produce similar results for different users. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying important information before relying on or sharing it.
Do not use generated content to make high-stakes decisions without independent review by an appropriately qualified person. Nosca does not promise a particular learning outcome, grade, exam result, or level of accuracy.
5. User content and permissions
“User content” means prompts, notes, documents, images, URLs, comments, set descriptions, and other material you submit. You retain any rights you already hold in your user content. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it and to allow the uses described here.
You grant Nosca a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, adapt, transmit, display, and create technical or generated derivatives of user content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service to you. This license lasts while the content is stored with the Service and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, legal compliance, security, and technical processing.
Do not submit confidential information, personal information about another person without authority, exam content whose use is prohibited, or material you are not legally permitted to share.
6. Community features
If you publish user content to the community, it becomes public to other users together with your curator username. You grant Nosca a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, distribute, and make that public content available through and in promotion of the Service until it is removed, subject to reasonable technical and backup retention.
You remain responsible for public content. We may review, label, limit distribution of, or remove community content that violates these Terms, creates risk, or degrades the Service. We do not endorse community content and cannot prevent others from copying material you make public.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- break the law, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, or facilitate cheating where prohibited;
- upload abusive, exploitative, deceptive, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or otherwise harmful content;
- impersonate another person, misrepresent affiliation, or publish another person’s personal information without permission;
- introduce malware, probe security, interfere with operation, or gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
- scrape, reverse engineer, bulk-download, or automate access except through a method we expressly authorize;
- bypass subscriptions, quotas, access controls, safety measures, or source restrictions; or
- use outputs or access to build or train a competing model or service where prohibited by law or without our written permission.
8. Third-party content and services
The Service may link to, retrieve from, or embed third-party services and media, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Stripe, and other sources. Third parties control their content, availability, terms, privacy practices, and technical restrictions. Nosca does not own or endorse third-party media and is not responsible for third-party services.
Your use of third-party content must comply with the rights holder’s terms and applicable law. A link or generated reel does not give you ownership of the underlying source.
9. Plans, subscriptions, and billing
Some features require a paid subscription. The checkout screen shows the price, currency, billing cadence, included usage, and applicable taxes before purchase. By subscribing, you authorize the payment provider to charge the payment method on file at the start of each billing period until cancellation. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next renewal date.
For subscriptions purchased on the web, use Settings → Plan & Usage to open the Stripe billing portal and cancel or manage billing. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and access continues until then unless stated otherwise. Purchases made through an app store are managed under that store’s billing, cancellation, and refund rules.
Except where law requires otherwise or the checkout terms expressly say otherwise, payments are non-refundable and unused plan usage does not roll over or convert to cash. We may change future prices or plan limits with advance notice required by law. If a payment fails, we may limit paid features or end the subscription. You are responsible for applicable taxes and accurate billing information.
10. Nosca ownership
Nosca and its licensors own the Service, including its software, interface, visual design, branding, compilations, and other content we provide, excluding your user content and third-party material. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for lawful personal or educational purposes.
Feedback you voluntarily provide may be used without restriction or compensation, but we are not required to use it.
11. Copyright reports
We respect intellectual property rights. To report content you believe infringes copyright, email dmca@reelai.app with: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the copyrighted work; identification and location of the allegedly infringing material; your name and contact information; a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the rights holder.
If your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, contact the same address for counter-notice instructions. Knowingly submitting a false infringement or counter-notice may create legal liability. We may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.
12. Suspension, termination, and deletion
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion in Settings. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, fail to pay charges, or threaten the security or operation of the Service. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
Terms that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, and limits of liability—will continue to apply.
13. Disclaimers and limits of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Nosca disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant the accuracy of generated content, the continued availability of third-party media, or that stored material will never be lost.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nosca will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from the Service. Nosca’s aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Nosca in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so some of these terms may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, or risk. We will post revised Terms here, update the effective date, and provide additional notice where required. If a material change applies to an existing paid subscription, it will take effect no earlier than allowed by law. Continuing to use the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to business.reelai@gmail.com. Before starting a formal dispute, you and Nosca agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve it through that contact address. Mandatory consumer rights under the law where you live remain unaffected.
